Patios
Covered outdoor space for year-round use
A patio gives you shade and shelter for entertaining, cooking or relaxing outdoors. We design the roof to join the house cleanly and suit how you use the space.
Size, roof style and colour are all worked out with you before the build.
Local considerations
Building in Currumbin Valley and the Gold Coast Hinterland area
Read more about our patios service.
The hinterland, including Advancetown, Mount Nathan, Numinbah Valley, Currumbin Valley and Springbrook, is acreage country with sloping land, long driveways and more exposed sites.
Hinterland homes often want a large shed or garage that doubles as a workshop and storage. With more room to work with, we focus on placement, access and how much clearance you need.
Worth thinking about early
- Slope is common, so cut and fill or stepped slabs are often part of the job
- Access for delivery trucks and machinery along narrow roads and driveways needs checking early
- Higher, exposed sites may need a building designed for the wind conditions at that location
Currumbin Valley falls under City of Gold Coast. Approval requirements depend on the building's size, use and position on your block, so we confirm what applies to your site before construction.
