Drive in, drive out
Machinery sheds live or die on bay width and clearance. We size the openings around your largest machine with the cab up and the implement on, not the machine as it sits in the paddock.
Open fronts suit most gear. Where wind or dust is a problem, one or two enclosed bays for tools and smaller equipment usually makes sense.
Built for rural sites
Rural blocks bring their own issues: exposure, ground conditions and distance from services. Footings and bracing are designed for the site rather than a standard suburban assumption.
Choosing the position
On acreage, the best spot is usually close to the track the machinery already uses, on ground that drains well and with the open side away from the prevailing weather. Keep clear of overhead power lines and allow room to turn with implements attached.
Rural lots in the Scenic Rim, Logan and the Gold Coast hinterland can involve slope, soft ground or long access tracks. These affect site preparation and delivery, so we look at them before the design is finalised.
