Carports for cars, boats and caravans

A carport is the cheapest way to get a vehicle under cover. The trick is height, post placement and making it look like part of the house.

Height and clearance

Caravans, boats on trailers and roof racks all need more clearance than a standard carport gives. Tell us what's going under it and we'll set the height accordingly.

Attached or freestanding

Attaching to the house is usually tidier and cheaper. Where the roofline doesn't allow it, or the parking sits away from the home, a freestanding carport gives you more freedom with position and height.

Approvals and boundaries

Carports close to a boundary or the street often have setback rules, and some estates have covenants on colour and design. Requirements differ between councils and estates, so we confirm what applies to your property before work starts.
